He works with both acoustic sensors, such as forward-looking and multibeam sonars, and optical sensors, such as monocular and stereo cameras, for bathymetric mapping and seabed monitoring.

    I am a researcher and scientist in ecology and evolutionary biology with a passion for nature conservation and biodiversity. As a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen, I investigated spatiotemporal relationships between past human movements, inferred from ancient DNA, and cultural transmission inferred from archaeological records. However, as a computational ecologist, during my PhD I reconstructed deep-time Arctic species responses to climatic changes (last 21,000 years), in order to better prevent future biodiversity loss.
