ARSID Fall Seminar: Building business across borders
October 28 @ 17:30 - 20:30
Research insights, panel discussion and networking.
Denmark is widely recognized for its inclusive society and for being “one of the major startup hubs in Europe, with outstanding industry clusters and an active and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem”. Yet despite this openness, both immigrant entrepreneurs and foreign SMEs often face friction when operating across institutional boundaries, navigating unfamiliar regulatory, cultural, and business environments.
This event brings together researchers, institutional actors, and practitioners to shed light on three questions:
- What are the characteristics of immigrant-owned businesses in Denmark?
- Which are the challenges when entering the Danish ecosystem?
- What tools and resources exist to help them overcome these obstacles?
